The Windows 10 Fall Creators Update has added a pretty new feature for gamers: GPU performance graphics. With the novelty, it has become possible to monitor the performance of your video card from the system's task manager. The tool also serves to find the program that is consuming many resources of the components.
To use the feature, only a few steps are required. Before, however, you need to check if your computer is running the Fall Creators Update (1709) version or higher. Check out this Digital Look tutorial how to check the performance of your video card in Windows 10.
1. Right-click the "taskbar" and select "Task Manager." You can also press "Ctrl + Alt + Del" to open the manager;
2. If the open window does not contain much information, click on "More details";
3. Note that the manager will show the "GPU" column. In it, you find how much of your GPU is being used. If you want, tap this column to reorder the list of applications based on GPU usage;
4. If your PC has an external card, the task manager will show next to which the component (integrated or off-board) is being used by the application;
5. To check GPU performance graphs, tap on the "Performance" tab;
6. Note that there will be one or more options in the list, depending on the number of cards in your computer. Usually, GPU 0 is the integrated motherboard board. Select the desired option;
7. When choosing the board, you can see graphics and numbers on the performance and consumption of GPU resources;
